Aro-ace-trashcan's graphic for promoting QPR Day
QPR Day is an event proposed by Tumblr user dragonheartetk in May of 2020 to celebrate queerplatonic relationships.[1][2] Tumblr user aro-ace-trashcan, who was involved with the planning, has referred to it as "the platonic version of St. Valentine's Day."[3]
Its annual calendar date is determined by the third Saturday of July, and so the first QPR Day was held on July 18th, 2020. QPR Day in 2023 will be on July 15th.
